While this website is maintained with great respect and admiration of Elon Musk and his endeavors, namely, his current preparatory facilitation of future interplanetary missions to  Mars, this website is not at all affiliated, nor associated, with Elon Musk, nor any of his past or present entities. Also, this website is not intended, nor claims, to represent the views and/or opinions of Elon Musk.

Not a final "Good Bye" in the long run! (Click on above image for a very fitting classic song!)

Fret not! The "Old World" will not be left behind in the star dust, since it stands only to gain from new innovations and prosperity inevitably achieved on Mars. Discoveries, facilitated by a future human presence on Mars, will translate into expanded vocabulary, perhaps evolving into a language exclusive to Mars. In essence, we already speak Martian, when conveying topics unique to Mars.

By the way, if  anyone were to write a biography on Elon Musk, or if Elon himself were to write an autobiography or were to dedicate a website to his interplanetary ambitions, the domain name featured on the following link would be the perfect book title, thus the ideal website address to promote such a book or Elon Musk himself.

Ceres may provide the most effective, but most risky, means of permanently transforming Mars into a planet, conducive to Terra-forming into Earth-like habitability.

Ceres is categorized as a dwarf planet, but not regarded as one of the nine planets (Pluto included), within our solar system. Ceres is the largest celestial body within the asteroid belt. It is about 600 miles in diameter. Its orbit is located between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter.

Earth, Mars, & Ceres size comparison

If and when the riddle of gravity is ever solved, technological advancements facilitating humans' ability to invert gravity into a repelling force (anti-gravity) may be developed.  Perhaps such "force" inversion technology could be incorporated into many integrally networked satellites, orbiting an asteroid, moon, or planet, for the purpose of creating a variably focused repelling (anti-gravity) force field to shift or move any celestial body around within our solar system for optimal relocation, or for planet building, by inducing controlled collisions between celestial bodies, via a process known as accretion, but in this case, it would be human-induced.  Such technology would perhaps allow Ceres to play a vital role in restoring the molten outer iron core dynamo (theoretical process for magnetosphere generation, via convective currents within the molten outer iron core), thus the global magnetic field (magnetosphere) of Mars. Before carefully colliding Ceres into Mars, both planets would require thorough exploration and examination for any existence of life,  If either hosts indigenous life, then such a radical idea would likely be ruled out.  If Ceres and Mars are void of life of any kind, then the prospects of colliding Ceres into Mars could be quite promising, due to Ceres being comprised of an iron core and a mantle with layers of rock, ice, and perhaps an internal liquid ocean. Not only would this likely restore the molten iron core, thus the magnetosphere of Mars, but such a planetary unification would also likely restore the ocean(s) and denser atmosphere that Mars evidently once had.  Ceres water contents combined with the resulting thaw-out of the Martian polar ice caps would hopefully replenish the Martian oceans to sufficient levels.

Again, assuming human technology eventually achieves the ability to apply anti-gravity mobility to celestial bodies, there are six additional asteroids to consider colliding into Mars other than Ceres that would likely ensure the melting of Mars's core.  Ceres, Vesta, Pallas, Hygiea, Interamnia, 52 Europa (not to be confused with Jupiter's moon), and Davida constitute the seven largest of the millions of asteroids within the asteroid belt.  As these seven asteroids, from smallest to the largest (the latter to the former), would be plucked from the Asteroid belt and collided into Mars, except for Hygiea, since I would suggest retaining it as a newly established moon in orbit around Mars, but at an adequately safe, but influential gravitational distance. This would be to simulate the effects our Moon has on Earth, for the sake of all life forms introduced from Earth to Mars. The question becomes: How grand of a scale could such technology be applied? Could Mercury (closet planet to our Sun) and Callisto (one of Jupiter's Galilean moons that is almost as large as Mercury in diameter, but not in mass), if collided as well into Mars, ensure Mars's iron outer core would never solidify again? Colliding the current two Martian moons, all of these celestial bodies I just suggested from within our solar system into Mars, and  even more relatively large asteroids from the asteroid belt, would result in coming fairly close to doubling Mars's mass, which would be a very advantageous, to Mars likely becoming a habitable planet well into the distant future as long as Earth has been through its past.

Such measures would initially transition Mars into a period of tectonic chaos, such as intense volcanism, from which the conditions (copious amounts of emitted atmosphere-thickening carbon dioxide), ultimately conducive to Terra forming Mars into an Earth-like planet, would emerge.  The first introductions of life from Earth to Mars would most likely be select species of both microbes and algae. Earth's plant kingdom would then continue to be the primary source for transplanting life to Martian terrain and seas, until the atmospheric oxygen level is adequate for gradually, but strategically, introducing select species from Earth's animal kingdom. With the stewardship of responsibly qualified humans, nurturing the Terra-formation of Mars, I believe the intended transformation of Mars would progress much more quickly than most would predict.  Observations of natural ecosystems rebounding after Earth's catastrophes have revealed how surprisingly resilient nature is.

Why is restoring the global magnetic field or magnetosphere of Mars so important? A planet's rotation, combined with its molten outer iron core is what generates its magnetosphere. Due to the the apparent extinction of all past volcanism on Mars, its once molten iron outer core evidently cooled and partially solidified hundreds of millions or possibly billions of years ago, leaving only a spotty remnant of a magnetic field that inadequately buffers the Martian atmosphere (including water vapor) from the Solar winds that evidently and gradually stripped away most of what once was a much denser, greenhouse-effect-inducing, and liquid-water-sustaining, atmosphere. Naturally preserved, water-eroded, but currently dry, channels, ravines, and tributary systems, photographed from launched orbiting space probes, are what initially revealed such an ancient past on Mars.

With no evidence of any long term climate cycles currently in play on Mars, it appears to be stuck in a permanent ice age, unless some sort of solar, celestial, or extraterrestrial (including Humans) intervention occurs. The so-called Milankovitch Cycles, for example, as a theoretical cause of ice ages here on Earth, has never taken hold as an accepted leading cause of ice ages, because it doesn't demonstrate itself as a catalyst, impacting enough, to induce global climate change to the  extent of triggering ice ages. A more plausible theory of what may cause ice ages are convective currents, within Earth's molten iron core, which may induce polarity reversals in Earth's magnetosphere. Such a reversal, combined with solar winds shearing Earth's atmosphere, is what could substantially thin Earth's atmosphere, thus resulting in an overall lower global-barometric-pressured atmosphere that is less conducive to facilitating the "greenhouse effect". The ultimate result is an extremely chilled atmosphere, resulting in 1 to 2 mile thick polar ice cap expansions to mid latitude regions. This is a long-term climatic condition that varies from a thousand to hundreds of thousands of years in duration, and is theorized to be triggered by the global magnetic neutrality-phase of a magnetosphere polarity reversal, during which the solar winds shear and thin Earth's atmosphere, due to the upper atmosphere and troposphere are no longer adequately shielded by the severely diminished global magnetic field (magnetosphere). Once a polarity reversal is complete, thus the magnetosphere restored, the density of Earth's atmosphere, "greenhouse effect", and temperatures gradually increase again as a sequential chain of cause and effect. The result is a return to considerably warmer temperatures at the mid to higher latitudes, thus a significant thawing and receding of ice-age caps.

Volcanoes spew the life giving gas of carbon dioxide that plants absorb and utilize as part of the natural carbon cycle. Meanwhile, plants emit copious amounts of oxygen in return, as they, along with soil bacteria denitrification, contribute to the natural nitrogen cycle. All of these natural processes within Earth and Earth's biosphere are what gradually restore an overall denser atmosphere, following a polarity reversal.  This theory is derived from connecting three dots: 1.) Earth's experiences ice ages, 2.) Earth's magnetosphere undergoes polarity reversals. 3.) The magnetosphere of Mars diminished, due to its iron outer core solidifying to the extent of shutting down its dynamo, thus most of its atmosphere was blown into space by solar winds.  If you connect these three dots, you then have a strong theory for what causes ice ages on Earth. As long as the Earth's atmospheric density gradually increases, due to natural processes of atmospheric build-up, slow and gradual global warming, to a limited extent, may be the natural default during periods between Earth's global magnetic polarity reversals,

Cyclonic weather formations are certainly not unique to Earth, as demonstrated by this amazing image of an overhead perspective of a dust devil raging over a Martian plain. (Above image credit: NASA/JPL-Caltech/University of Arizona)

(Linked access to above image credits follow the below text.) Olympus Mons, an extinct volcano, is the tallest and most massive volcano/mountain known to exist within our Solar System. It rises approximately 75,000 ft. above most of the adjacent Martian plain, just slightly more than 2.5 times higher than Mt. Everest's height above sea level. It's area is comparable to the entire state of Arizona. Notice the Martian atmosphere, visibly apparent along the Mars horizon. The Mars atmosphere is currently comprised of about 96% carbon dioxide (CO2). Olympus Mons among other enormous extinct volcanoes on Mars would have been significant generators of CO2 into the Martian atmosphere, just as our active volcanoes are the primary contributors to CO2 emissions on Earth. The absorption and utilization of CO2 by plants and marine vegetation primarily offsets any potential accumulative result of CO2 emissions, evident by the fact CO2 is constituted by a residual trace amount of only .04% of Earth's

To better understand Mars is to better understand the Earth and vice versa. Unfortunately, we don't hear the mainstream news media and politicians ask the following obvious questions in response to the typically espoused narratives, regarding carbon dioxide emissions:

Climate Change?  Which climate is changing into what new climate?  Why do those who tout the narrative of “Climate Change” no longer refer to it as “Global Warming", except when there’s a heat wave? Is this to “cover their (gas)” in the event the next ice age proves to be just around the corner?  There are relatively recent signs that a reversal of Earth's magnetic polarity may be in process, thus possibly indicating a forthcoming ice age. If CO2 (carbon dioxide) emissions supposedly induce global warming, won’t such human-contributed emissions be a welcomed countermeasure if and when an ice age reoccurs?  If global warming is occurring, why isn’t its cause attributed instead to the significantly increased output of the Sun, detected during and since the 20th century? Why is the fact that CO2 only constitutes a residual trace amount of .04% of the Earth’s atmosphere rarely reported? Is this due to those who want to demonize CO2 don't want the public to distinguish between high CO2 emission rates versus the resulting ultra-low atmospheric accumulation level of CO2? Why would anyone label CO2 as a pollutant, considering the fact all plants collectively absorb and utilize CO2 as fast as it is emitted into the atmosphere, and all animals vitally rely on plants for food and oxygen? The symbiotic relationship between plant-life and animals is partially constituted by the vitally utilized exchange of carbon dioxide and oxygen between these two kingdoms. Since we correctly don't refer to H2O as just "hydrogen", why are CO2 emissions often incorrectly referred to as just "carbon" emissions?  Does this mean the “Climate Change” alarmists are content with people confusing carbon dioxide (CO2) with toxic carbon monoxide as they so often do? FYI, carbon monoxide is an unstable molecule; therefore, it doesn't accumulate in any sustained manner within Earth’s atmosphere, because it latches onto another oxygen atom to become carbon dioxide. Why aren't nitrogen, CO2, and water vapor acknowledged as the three “greenest” gasses, naturally occurring within Earth’s atmosphere? Since plants rely on all three of these gasses, can you name a greener gas? Well, you can't. Water vapor is essential to life on land, since it condenses into clouds and precipitation. Why aren't CO2’s “greenhouse” properties put into proper perspective by informing the masses of the fact that water vapor has far greater “greenhouse” properties than either CO2 or methane? Did you know that most people don’t know methane and natural gas are the same thing? If the Summer thaw-outs along the fringes of Greenland and the South polar ice cap are supposedly melting at a rate that will eventually raise the sea level, then why has no one proposed the most obvious measure to avert such a potential catastrophe? What obvious measure, you ask? Utilize naturally occurring land depressions (below sea level) that exist on every continent, which are typically arid inland saline seas or dry basins, to serve as natural over-spill reservoirs into which excess ocean water could be channeled, via constructed canals and/or underground aqua-ducts. If all such basins are utilized as previously described, they would be poised to sufficiently absorb any and all naturally limited ice cap melt-off that would potentially occur, if at all.  If such construction had begun as concerns over "Global Warming" were seemingly regarded as having merit by some politicians in the 1990’s, such a global sea-level-maintenance system could have perhaps been in place at least 15 plus years ago.  Has this not been implemented nor even proposed, due to such authoritarians not truly believing their own narrative as much as they only desire to excessively tax society for simply "exhaling" carbon dioxide?

Rather than having politically misguided scientists coaxing society to dwell on minute fluctuations of an atmospheric trace element, such as CO2 that has a negligible climatic effect within our atmosphere, why don't real scientists instead focus on measuring any potentially varying average mean global atmospheric/barometric pressure? If one is looking for proof of anthropogenic (human induced) climate change, the human-contributing impact of potentially increasing global barometric pressure might be more quantifiable, even if not necessarily detrimental. It may actually be beneficial, especially if it's incidentally serving to counter a potentially coinciding natural phenomena that otherwise could reduce Earth's average mean barometric pressure and temperature. I'm referring to the natural process of solar winds shearing away our atmosphere, which would generally cool the planet, but at the same time, it would likely expand daily temperature ranges and temperature extremes between summers and winters in some regions as well.

Rampant deforestation and toxic polluting/contamination of Earth's atmosphere, fertile soils, ground water, and rivers, and thus most critically, the contaminated  oceans that are gradually dying as a result, are seriously concerning issues.  Societies preoccupying themselves with carbon dioxide emissions, while CO2 doesn't even accumulate beyond a trace amount within the Earth's atmosphere is the epitome of supposed leadership taking its eye off the ball and barking up the wrong tree.

(Above image credit: NASA/JPL-Caltech/University of Arizona) Speaking of saving ecosystems, to save the prospective future ecosystem on Mars, the nearest moon to Mars, Phobos, must be brought down, and perhaps the outer moon, Deimos, as well!

Why, you ask? If the Terra-forming of Mars is ever accomplished, such a feat will imply at least two prior occurrences: One, extensive colonization, which translates into many humans living on Mars. Two, the Martian atmosphere successfully transformed into a much denser atmosphere, which would extend its outreach into space as well as its frictional drag on any objects in close orbit to Mars. At only 3700 miles above the surface of Mars, Phobos definitely falls into the category of a catastrophe looming overhead. Just as dynamite triggering a preliminary avalanche renders a ski-slope safe from such a danger to skiers,  perhaps a single nuclear explosive-pulse on the leading side of Phobos would be enough to slow its orbital velocity, and allow Mars to gravitate Phobos to wind inward to ultimately collide into Mars. It needs to done before any permanent colonization is established on Mars!

Earth and Mars comparisons!

Number of moons:

Earth = 1

Mars = 2

Planets' diameters:

Earth = 7,926 miles

Mars = 4,220 miles

Average distance from Sun:

Earth = 93,000,000 miles

Mars = 142,000,000 miles

Length of year (duration of one orbital revolution around the Sun):

Earth = 365.25 days

Mars = 687 days

Length of day (duration of one planetary rotation):

Earth = 24 hrs

Mars = 24 hrs + 37 m (It wouldn't hurt to speed that up just a bit)

Axis tilt (obliquity):

Earth = 23.5 degrees

Mars = 25 degrees

(Since Mars is considerably farther from the Sun, it would be ideal for Mars to have a significantly less axis tilt, perhaps 10 degrees Max.) Notice the icecaps on Mars, within the above image.

The last two stats for Mars could possibly be improved upon by strategically colliding the largest asteroids from the asteroid belt into Mars.

Above Image source/credits: https://astrogeology.usgs.gov/search/map/mars_mgs_mola_global_color_shaded_relief_463m#open

The current geological surface of Mars has been accurately surveyed by Mars orbiters that measured Martian surface elevations, via laser altimeter imaging, then translated the readings into a colored topography map of the entire surface of Mars. View the above colored topography map of Mars. Take note of the low lying areas, primarily colored in dark indigo to various shades of blue, which is appropriate, considering these are areas where the past ocean and seas of Mars covered the Martian surface. It's interesting that the vast former ocean floor within the northern Mars hemisphere and the former deep and shallow seas of the southern Mars hemisphere are relatively void of meteor impact craters, compared to the regions of higher elevations on Mars. The craters existing in the lower sparsely cratered regions appear to be more defined, thus relatively fresh or newer; therefore, such impacts perhaps occurred after the oceans and seas had evaporated away. These are all clues to the likelihood that past Martian oceans and seas eroded away most of the ancient craters that otherwise would likely still exist as they still do in contrasting profusion in higher elevated regions, except for where such craters were likely buried by eruption deposits, emitted by past activity of adjacent volcanoes that are now long extinct, or where such craters are likely covered by deep polar ice.

It was sure nice of those Martians to clear the way, by so neatly setting those boulders aside to the left so that the rover, Curiosity, could roll-on through the dune pass, just kidding (?).

This is one of those rare images where it seems no red-enhancing filter was applied to the image, if they ever are, because the sky reveals a slightly bluish-gray cast to it, just as the first Viking images from Mars revealed bluish colored skies in 1976. When looking up the image credits, I read the following: "image transformed to Earth-like atmospheric view," Yeah right! If so, why mislead? When someone who usually misleads tells you they're misleading, that's when you're probably not being misled, and you're getting the truth (a non-contrived image) for once.

A beautiful image of Mars!

A beautiful image of Mars!

There have been those who have accused NASA of enhancing various images of Mars and Martian surface photos with red-enhancing filters. This particular image seems to potentially substantiate such a claim. If this is true, the great question would be: Why? I admit, the redder a Mars image appears, the less potentially habitable Mars seems to be. (Food for thought)

New World or Old World?

Perhaps future explorations on Mars will reveal that mankind's first voyage to Mars was instead mankind's return to what may be the original "Old World". We should remain open to the possibility of such a revelation.

Of course, there's water on Mars!

I've lost track of the number of times over the decades the news media has reported the discovery of water on Mars, as if it's a new revelation each time.

If you look closely, there appears to be a rather large pooling of water at the bottom of the above Martian canyon, probably an offshoot of Valles Marineris. The water appears to be an accumulation of runoff from melting ice, or perhaps even snow, visible near the canyon's rim. Unfortunately, due to the limitations of this hosting site's templates/software, this normally zoom-capable image does not zoom-in, but when zoomed-in, this normally high resolution image reveals an eroded main channel from the left of the pool of water that leads to what appears to be a narrow but relatively tall waterfall at the left end of the Martian lake/pond. Canyons on Mars are even more grand!

The Martian south polar icecap!

Like Earth, Mars has polar icecaps, comprised of water ice, but unlike Earth, the Mars ice caps are also comprised of "dry ice", which is frozen/solidified carbon dioxide. The Martian icecaps expand and contract seasonally, due to their dry ice content being a significant variable, which is related to the specific dynamic seasonal polar temperature range on Mars. (Image Credit: NASA/JPL/Malin Space Science Systems)

The Martian north polar icecap!

Hypothetically speaking, if the Martian icecaps were to completely thaw out, due to the human intervention of inducing collisions of the two Martian moons into Mars itself, the benefit would be two-fold. The resulting liquid water would obviously flow and fill regions of lowest elevation on the surface of Mars, replenishing ancient sea beds with potential life-supporting water habitats. To what extent such basins would be filled may be uncertain at this time, since the actual volume of water stored or frozen within the Martian icecaps may not yet be either accurately calculated or revealed. The resulting liquid state of potential bodies of water may be naturally sustained by the compounding benefit of increased atmospheric CO2, released from CO2 sublimation (transitioning from a solid/frozen state directly into a gas state) from the melted icecaps, and from resulting volcanism, triggered by impacts of the two Martian moons. An increased overall atmospheric greenhouse effect, due to a resulting denser Martian atmosphere would likely raise average temperatures enough to keep CO2 from deposition (transitioning from a gas state directly into a frozen/solid state), thus possibly also preventing water from permanently freezing in lower latitudinal regions to where it flows from the poles.

Notice the active dust storm with billowy dust clouds behind the advancing wall of dust, captured by cameras, aboard the Mars-orbiting probe.

(Image Credit: NASA/JPL/Malin Space Science Systems)

(Image credits: NASA/JPL-Caltech/MSSS) Gee, it looks like it might rain! It's time to wrap this up!

The above image reveals a substantial overcast condition on Mars at the time the this photo was taken by the rover, "Curiosity." Reported comparisons state that the Martian atmosphere is over 100 times thinner than Earth's at their respective surfaces, which is the equivalent to being 18 miles above the Earth's surface in respect to air thinness.  The highest noctilucent clouds within Earth's upper atmosphere can occur up to 50 miles above Earth, but 12 miles is the maximum among the more typical cloud types occurring within the lower atmosphere. It would seem that Mars is pushing the limits, in respect to conditions conducive to cloud formation, but I imagine there could be other conditions that may factor into such cloud development on Mars, or perhaps the Martian atmosphere isn't as thin as we are led to believe. Again, a Martian atmosphere perceived as too thin instills the notion of non-habitability, just like the seemingly applied red filters would, by potentially concealing bluish colored skies on Mars. I'm just speculating!

There will be free speech on Mars!

The right for anyone to freely express one's self, via unlimited speech, is far more sacred than the supposed right of another to not be offended. Besides, the offended are recruited by their own subjectivity. There is no exception to free speech! Those who wish for censorship to rule at the end of the day, typically claim at least one exception in order to establish a precedent that they hope leads to many more. We've all heard the ignorant argument: "You can't yell FIRE in a crowded theater!" Well, you certainly can, if there is a fire. Only if one knowingly misleads others to believe there is a fire when there isn't, and and especially if such deceit logically compels those, who perceive themselves at risk, to act in a desperate manner that leads to either the endangerment or harm of property, themselves, and/or others, then such communication could be deemed as criminal misconduct, rather than just speech.

In the spirit of free speech, anyone may hypothesize anything one sincerely believes to be either true, possible, or improbable, regardless of who may deem such a theory as impossible. Theories potentially open minds to the discovery of truths that otherwise may never be realized without such notions expressed for the rest of us to consider. The lack of evidence isn't what disproves a theory, but rather proof of its contrary, and sometimes that's impossible to prove. The best thing that can happen to a theory itself is for it to be confirmed as fact, then it is obviously no longer theory. The second-best occurrence for a theory is for it to be never proven nor disproved, thus forever leaving hope for its possibility. The second worst outcome for a theory itself is for it to be disproved or debunked. The absolute worst scenario for any theory is for it to never be considered nor given a chance. Some who reject or deny an alleged conspiracy theory, do so, because they favor the effect or status that would be facilitated by such a conspiracy. Many conspiracies are real, and theorizing the existence of one is absolutely legitimate!

Truth ultimately prevails when there’s no censorship; therefore, never trust those who censor. Truth is rarely an asset to those who are ruled by their ego or to those whose intentions or actions are less than pure. Individuals’ collective speculations incidentally serve a purpose, even if incorrect, by potentially isolating the truth in more plain view in due time. Only those who are conditioned to not think for themselves might fear misinformation. Disinformation, on the other hand, only stands a chance of being the last word, if no opposition is ever allowed to be read or heard. No information source should ever be established as “official”, since such a label can be conveniently utilized to disguise deceit. Remember, whenever or wherever tyranny exists, free speech never does! Within a free society, it’s up to each individual to decipher the truth for one's self, as the means for one to navigate through life as one sees fit for their own well-being. A continuous, but healthy exchange of thoughts and ideas, within a society, is essential as such theories are gradually refined as they are inevitably challenged by evolving facts-based rationale, thus culminating into a seemingly reasonable consensus as to what a free society perceives as truth. Not to be mistaken though, perception is subjective and truth is absolute! Despite the many who confuse these two, when not one and the same, we each still consciously or subconsciously sense which one is real.

“To Mars Tomorrow”

As humans look to the stars

to determine mankind's next quest,

the answer is clearly Mars,

if technology passes a test:

Master faster, yet reliable space travel.

Gravity is the undeniable mystery

scientists race to unravel

in order to make history,

via a transporter that repels to propel

to an unprecedented velocity,

enabling consciousness to further excel,

due to unrelenting curiosity.

“Quest Validated”

A space probe’s capability

to land on an unearthly surface

symbolizes the nobility

behind such a worthy purpose,

despite anyone skeptically denying

the practicality of humans migrating in droves,

floating like seeds from a dandelion,

and ultimately planting themselves in groves.

X landing on Mars for eventual colonization,

thus expanding Earth’s essential pollination,

must reliably set a precedent

for mankind’s perpetual ascension,

and make it undeniably evident

that the first interplanetary expansion

will hereby transcend beyond Mars

for eons and ascend to nearby stars.

Will there be peace on Mars?

Peace is an effect, not a cause, and should never be the sole primary goal, because whenever it is, it's never the result. Don't get me wrong. True peace is heavenly, but peace is a bi-product of when other virtues, such as civil liberties, protected by the "Bill of Rights", are the top priority within a true free society. Peace is also maintained when strength is asserted to keep prospective enemies at bay. Passivity is dangerous, especially when applied as the  foolish strategy of appeasement of prospective enemies, which instead, only emboldens them.

A token of peace,

as spoken at least:

A dove with love

and nothing more to say

is a chance

for the olive branch

to make it all the way.

Mars will be the new land of liberty:

Have you ever seen a poor hummingbird or bee, desperately trying to escape through a glass window, adjacent to an open door? Most of humanity suffers from a similar narrow perspective. Humans must yet evolve, in order to no longer be accomplices to their own enslavement.

Congratulations! You've made it this far:

Consciousness is the acknowledgment of the presence or absence of matter, by matter itself, but beyond the laws of physics, all the way to the infinite destiny of ever-evolving/expanding awareness. In a limited sense, the Earth and Moon acknowledge each other, via laws of gravity, but without perception nor contemplation, obviously unlike humans and other higher life forms. Thank you for acknowledging this website.

P.S. If there's water on Mars, I'm moving there!

I'll bring along my quick-assemble, modular tri-vector, mini-biosphere dwelling! The sun-exposed sloped sides lend themselves well to the incorporation of solar panels and/or passive solar heating. If enough of these structures are duplicated and interconnected, such a layout forms hexagonal courtyards and ultimately configures a honeycomb pattern from an aerial perspective. Perhaps geodesic greenhouse geodesic domes could be incorporated within the above mentioned courtyards.
